Located in Lyons, IL this new settlement uses the limit of a wall and the orientation of simple cubes to establish a density of superimposed art gallery homes. The interiors, through the use of track doors anchored in the ceiling, are able to mitigate both the private and public life of an art gallery owner by transforming the various spaces to fit the needs of the user. The plasticity of the interiors allows for the homes and the inhabitants to become exhibition pieces in a collective experience framed by the exterior wall.
